We believe in transparent prices around the clock. Whether you travel on a weekday afternoon or during a holiday night, the pricing for a given route follows the same logic. If you have taken a route once, you should recognize the price level next time—no surprises.
Booking via Taxibokning Åre
Booking is free of charge; we do not add any fee. You only pay the fare set by the taxi company for your trip.
Licensed operators
All affiliated taxi companies hold valid professional traffic permits and are registered for VAT and taxes, meeting the Swedish Transport Agency’s requirements.
Pricing and comparison fare
Each taxi company sets its own prices. We require that the comparison fare (the fare that, under Swedish Transport Agency rules, must be shown for a reference trip of 10 km taking 15 minutes) never exceeds SEK 499 with our affiliated companies.
Approximate fares for common routes
Examples for 1–4 passengers (standard car):
- Åre Square → Copperhill Mountain Lodge: approx. 360–410 SEK
- Åre Square → Tott Hotel: approx. 110–130 SEK
- Åre Square → Duved: approx. 375–400 SEK
- Åre Square → Fjällsätra Hotel (Undersåker): approx. 490–530 SEK
Surcharges may apply for child seats, bulky luggage or special requests. Fixed fares are available for certain flight and rail transfers. These are indicative prices and may vary depending on route, taxi company and traffic.
