1. About the service
“Taxibokning Åre” is a local, independent taxi booking service in the Åre valley. The service forwards your booking request to connected taxi companies in Åre, Björnen, Duved and nearby areas.
We are not a taxi company and do not operate any vehicles ourselves. The actual trip is always carried out by the taxi company that accepts your request.
2. How booking works
- You submit your request via the online form.
- The system forwards your request to one or more connected taxi companies.
- When a company accepts, you receive a confirmation by SMS and/or a link to the status page.
- On the status page you can see which company has been assigned and how they will contact you.
3. Responsibilities
Your responsibility includes:
- providing correct contact and pickup information,
- being reachable on your phone before pickup,
- being at the pickup location in reasonable time,
- informing about special needs (child seat, pets, green car request, etc.).
The taxi company is responsible for the trip, pricing and any complaints or refunds. Please contact the company directly for such matters.
Taxibokning Åre only provides the booking platform and is not liable for delays, cancellations, prices or damages related to the transport itself.
4. ASAP vs scheduled bookings
You may choose either “as soon as possible” or a scheduled pickup time. We will try to match scheduled bookings with an available taxi company, but traffic and weather may affect the exact pickup time.
5. Green cars & special requests
If you request a green car (e.g. HVO, biogas, electric), we will first try to assign a company that can provide this. However, we cannot guarantee availability at all times.
If no green car is available, a regular taxi may be assigned instead. This will be indicated on your confirmation/status page.
6. Cancellations & no-shows
Rules for cancellations, waiting time, and no-show fees are set by each taxi company. Please contact the company that accepted your booking if you have questions.
7. Privacy
We process your personal data (such as name, phone number and pickup location) in order to forward your booking. For details, please see our Privacy Policy (GDPR, in Swedish).
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when needed. The latest version is always available on this page. By sending a new booking request, you accept the current version.
